There aren't many novels I didn't finish, but unfortunately this one goes to that category. The story is what bothered me the most, I just couldn't bring myself to get interested in anything that was happening, especially concerning the senator stuff and passing bills, jeez. Her angle was also nothing special, a "been there, seen and read that a million times" - a factory and environmental problems? Toxic waste? Just didn't work for me. Even their love affair wasn't enough to hold me through the book. Maybe I'll return to it later, but I highly doubt it. BUT, I won't give up on this series, some of the other storylines seem very interesting, maybe it's just me and my dislike of politics that had me edning this one. Hope the others will be better.
